Freedom is an unincorporated community in Frontier County, Nebraska, in the United States.

A post office was established at Freedom in 1895, and operated intermittently until it was discontinued in 1946.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=Frontier County )〕 Freedom was likely named from the patriotic spirit of the post-Civil War era.〔 A (1925 edition ) is available for download at (University of Nebraska—Lincoln Digital Commons. )〕
A specimen of prehistoric ''Amebelodon'' was found in 1928 on a farm at Freedom.
